The Correlation between High Sensitive C-reactive Protein Levels and Gensini Score in Diabetes Patients

چکیده
BACKGROUND: Coronary artery disease is a caused by atherosclerotic plaques in the coronary arteries. The severity of can be assessed objectively angiography. Many prospective studies have shown that inflammatory biomarkers with high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) are independent predictors cardiovascular events. AIM: aim this study was to determine correlation hsCRP and Gensini score subjects diabetic patients. METHODS: This used an analytical observational design cross-sectional see between subjects. total sample 40 diagnosis diabetes. Examination angiography levels performed on all RESULTS: A patients were included analysis. mean age 57.98 ± 8.71 years old. 63.90 40.79 median level 13.05 (0.3–245.6). There significant (r = 0.346, p 0.029). CONCLUSION: positive relationship score, where increase value also followed score; therefore, assess degree lesions.

Serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein levels and the severity of coronary atherosclerosis assessed by angiographic gensini score.
OBJECTIVE To assess the relationship between plasma high sensitivity C-reactive protein levels with severity of coronary atherosclerosis. MATERIALS AND METHODS The study included 80 patients subjected to coronary angiography. The extent of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) was assessed using Gensini score. Patients were divided into three risk groups according to hs-CRP levels (< 1 mg/L--as low r...
متن کاملRelationship between High-Density Lipoprotein and C-reactive Protein in Patients with Atherosclerosis
Abstract Background and Objective: Atherosclerosis is an inflammatory disease mostly caused by oxidation of low density lipoproteins (LDLs) while High-density lipoproteins (HDLs) oppose atherosclerosis by inhibiting the oxidation of LDLs. Serum concentration of C- reactive protein (CRP) also increases as an acute phase protein in inflammatory conditions like atherosclerosis. We aimed to evalu...

Background and Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the level of plasma high sensitive c-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in preeclampsia and to compare hs-CRP levels between normal pregnant women, mild preeclamptic, and severe preeclamptic women. Materials and Methods: Serum hs-CRP levels were inv...
متن کاملMid-Trimester Amniotic Fluid High Sensitive C-Reactive Protein Level in the Prediction of Preterm Delivery
Background and Objectives: Preterm labor is a serious problem in obstetrics, accounting for 70% of perinatal mortality. High sensitive C - reactive protein (HS-CRP) is a sensitive marker of Inflammation. Our aim in this study was to determine Amniotic fluid hs-CRP concentration and its correlation with pre-Term delivery. Materials and methods: This prospective study was conducted on 90 p...
متن کاملThe correlation between early complications of percutaneous coronary intervention and high sensitive C-reactive protein
BACKGROUND Increased incidence of cardiovascular diseases, especially coronary artery disease (CAD), during recent decades shows this disease entity to be the leading cause of death in the world. On the other hand many successes were achieved in the treatment of these diseases with new technology, which has its own side effects and threats for the patient. Among these new strategies is percutan...
